My Dad, Jack Neth, started Far West Tanks in 1997 after a number of years of helping out at other tank companies and managing his own water system needs. He began as a tank and water systems parts distributor, but over the years developed into more through his increased interest and experience in water systems and his desire to help people get the best possible solution to their site water use needs. His scope of service expanded to source development, storage options, and treatment of water; as well as help with consultation and problem solving. Being the coast representative for Triple-O Ozone Water Treatment Systems, he not only was able to provide the systems and parts, but also was able to help owners understand how to manage their system and perform regular maintenance. At his passing at the end of 2007, my brother Tom (Little Green Bean Roastery) and I, fully appreciating all that our Dad had established and built, endeavored to continue this heritage as best we were able, and to maintain the company as a family business.
Presently, we are actively looking at various sustainable and alternative options for water supply, storage, treatment and purification. Some of these include rainwater catchment; water harvesting earthwork design; greywater; the use of solar power for pumping and other power related needs in systems; and all forms of treatment based on a systematic assessment of source water that will ensure the quality desired. We have endeavored as well to set all our activities into the broader understanding of ecological design and the understandings derived from regenerative agriculture so that at all times the whole picture is being considered and watershed health, from the site to the community and beyond, is considered and maintained.
True to our heritage, we are here to serve you as you pursue solving your water supply needs.
